 April paints landscapes and portraits for private and corporate clients. She is an experienced artist and has been awarded for her work by organizations and competitions. Her work is displayed throughout many western states including Colorado and California.

April is inspired by the beauty of nature and her surroundings as she paints to stir the human spirit. Waters is quoted as saying, "...I seek to capture the nurturing and encompassing power of the land and water that sustains us." Her work hangs in the Salem Hospital and Mount Angel Abbey Library to name a few.
