The Joker by William Skrips and Kevin TitzerBad Seed by William Skrips and Kevin Titzer

“Throwing Stones” is a show of collaborative works by William Skrips and Kevin Titzer.  Both artists are working with found objects in combination with carved, welded and painted wooden and/or metal surfaces.

Each artist has a knack for transposing the humorous and quirky with the dark and macabre, stimulating reactions from uneasiness to outright laughter. Both artists work in a narrative style, though some of the situations posted (as well as the characters involved) may be somewhat nightmarish or surreal.

Meeting a year ago, Kevin suggested that he and William do a collaborative piece. The show includes this piece, as well as many examples of each artists sculpture.

William Skrips currently resides in Blairstown, NJ while Kevin Titzer lives in Evansville, Indiana.
